Most times, we eat different kind of foods without knowing what they are made of or their nutritional benefits. We are all guilty of that but this article is not about that. Let us take a look at milk, it is made up of two types of protein; 80% of Casein and 20% of Whey protein. The emphasis is on Whey protein, it is a by-product during the production of Cheese. Finally, taking 25 – 50 grams of whey protein daily means you have enough protein needed for your body. Whey protein contains high concentration of Leucine which is good for the muscle. Body builders, athletes, weight lifters should consider taking the protein supplement as it is good for the muscles, weight loss and workout.
